FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS
follow the wine Varietals.
ZINFANDEL
Tobin James Cellars is famous for their spectacular Zinfandels. They create as many as 11 different Zins a year, all uniquely and incredibly wonderful. They are all deep, intense in color, have rich fruit and berry aromas with dense, rich, concentrated jammy, packed with fruit flavor profiles. All exhibit long lasting finishes.
The “ultimate Zin” is their “Blue Moon”,
it has the most concentration and is the jammiest of any Zinfandel.

MERLOT
The characteristics that make Merlot such a popular wine, bright black cherry flavors, currant and plum with a luscious mouth feel and soft velvety texture, are all found in Tobin's Merlot. It is one of their most popular wines.
A rich and brilliant one is “Made in the Shade” Merlot.

SYRAH
Paso Robles is quickly becoming known as one of the best areas in the world for Syrah and Tobin James is, in our opinion, one of the “best of class”.
Typically they have bright cherry and berry flavors, matched with just the right touch of pepper and spice. They finish with soft tannins that allow their Syrahs
to be enjoyed young, or aged for many years.

Deep, rich, and jammed with flavors, this complex dessert wine is the perfect end to an evening. It displays rich currant and plum flavors with hints of herb. Picking very late in the season produces an almost port-like wine.
It must be tasted to be believed.
